Baba Sushi has already received a number of awards.

• In January 2012, chef Wilson Wang, won the award for Best Chef People's Choice. He came in 2nd place in the Iron Chef Judges Choice competition. His dish included four varieties of seafood: crab, caviar, oyster and scallop.
• In January 2011, chef Wilson Wang, owner of Baba Sushi, took home the award for Best Chef Judge's Choice in the Asian category. This is a follow up to his rousing success of 2007 when Wilson won the overall award for Best Chef. Read more
• In January 2010, chef Wilson Wang, owner of Baba Sushi, took home the award for Worcester's Best Chef in the Asian category. This is a follow up to his rousing success of 2007 when Wilson won the overall award for Best Chef.
• In late January 2007, despite being opened only three weeks, Baba's two chefs, owner Wilson Wang and Michael Zhang, competing against top chefs from over 40 area restaurants, were winners of the Worcester's Best Chef 2007 award.
• For the Fourth year in a row, in 2011, Baba Sushi was voted Best Sushi Restaurant in the Worcester region in Worcester Magazine's prestigious Best of Worcester awards.
• Baba is proud to be the 20011 winner of Worcester Living Magazine's Best Sushi Restaurant.
